Summer is coming to an end, time to look forward to our winter workout routines. I've decided I want to achieve the 1000-lb. combined lifts for the Bench, Squat, and Deadlift. I cam up 10 lbs short a couple years ago, and will renew my efforts again this fall/winter. What are your goals?
Which of these is NOT like the others?

LOL.
I took and passed my HKC. I was not the most well conditioned athlete.
But I was VERY strong on technique. Everyone else was young, smiley,

Funny… That challenge has been on my mind for some time now. I was about 100lbs short.
Over the summer my knee was not getting better, in fact I was having problems playing racquetball. Then I decided I need to do something. So I started some simple goblet squats and stretching and Wednesday this week I was able to run again!
Aside from the workouts, I would like to try to lose some more weight. I need to start using that kettlebell ;) I plan on playing a fall racquetball league on Monday nights and maybe some open racquetball on Thursday evenings.
2011 started well for me. I was pretty consistent …then work got busy. Right now I’m trying to get back up on that horse.
Showing up is a huge effort. My biggest weakness is conditioning, which is probably why I hate doing what I’m doing.
Conditioning is my current objective.
I will commit to re-establishing my 1RM for the 3 exercises next week to see where I stand. Any other takers? Even if you don't want to work on increasing them, its a gauge for us all to see how far we've all come or fallen.
Count me out this round.
Ok. I would like to do this with a spotter this time so I don't get accused of sandbagging. But I don't wnat to use those girly-man machines. Pete, do you want to come over to Lifetime sometime this week? We could crash in on Scoundrel and use his stuff and he can make snarky comments ;).
